Fazi and Fuller focus on the essential characteristic that both precedes and grounds the digital: computation as a method and force of organization, quantification, and rationali­ zation of reality. Showing how digital art is inherently interwoven with features of digital structures, Fazi and Fuller examine ten aspects of computational aesthetics, among them abstraction and concreteness, discreteness, axiomatics, speed, and scale.
